Anna Maria was born in Jersey City across from "The Twin Towers" of New York City. She became committed to the development of her talent at a young age. As a child Anna Maria would spend hours in her room drawing. Being from the Metropolitan Area, she spent most of her childhood surrounded by Museums, Theaters and Classical Architecture. As a young girl she would frequently travel into Manhattan to attend various Art shows and Museum Exhibitions. She began displaying her work while still in college. A major in Art History, she became particularly drawn to a style of painting which she had acquired from the most famous Artist of the Impressionist age, Monet. Her work has been displayed on both Coasts’. She particularly loves to work with Acrylics. Her paintings’ captures the viewer’s imagination to look beyond reality. Anna Maria’s work is best described, as a mystical display of dimension and texture, painted across the canvas in an array of dreamy colors. Her interpretation guides you into her dream world. She is a perfectionist driven by the passion to portray beauty through her paintings.
